Mmm. Just went to an International Punk Mini-Festival. Here. In Stornoway. How mad is that? Ok, if you don't live here, you might not realise just how unlikely such an event is here, but trust me - it is.

It was brilliant. So much fun. Bands from Italy, Ireland and Japan (and local and Scottish talents of course). It was excellent seeing all the young Lewis kids moshing and having a good time.

The highlight was Japanese band Electric Eel Shock. I didn't expect to be so entertained. It was definitely one of the best gigs I've ever seen. Their music might not always be my cup of tea, but as far as putting on a show, these guys were amazing. My favourite songs were: "Bastard!" and "I Can Hear The Sex Noise". Class. :)

Very nice guys, too. They seemed to be really humble, polite and just plain cool.
